Tony Spinner, a native of Cape Girardeau, has lived music his entire adult life. While Tony has performed with numerous musicians of note through the years and tours Europe with his own band, his most notable claim to fame is having spent 10 years touring the world with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band, Toto. As one of their musicians, he also sang "Can't Stop Loving You", one of Toto's numerous hits songs.


To see & hear Tony Spinner perform is to see and hear a maestro, who truly plays for the love of the music. His laid back style (barefoot and blue jeans) would fool the casual observer, only briefly, into thinking this is just an everyday musician. However, within a few short minutes, it becomes crystal clear, this is rare combination of casual ease and extreme perfection.




What you won't hear from the band, is Toto music. Tony's style is southern rock, blues and funk. He plays enough classics to fill the dance floor and enough originals to keep the purist happy.


Friday and Saturday, August 27th and 28th at Broussard's Cajun Cuisine in downtown Cape, you can see for yourself why we are fans.
